The room was large with an amazing view of the beach. The A/C worked well. The location was perfect right off 5ta avenida. It was so close to the ferry, so much was walking distance, the hotel was just far enough to be quiet for sleeping.

I loved the access to the beach - the hotel is mere feet from the ocean. I upgraded my room to a suite and had a gorgeous view from my balcony. I scanned the reviews before booking and was a little worried by some of the comments, but staying here was quiet and comfortable. I traveled alone, and met a friend in Playa for dinner, and upon return I was happy to see the front door of the hotel locked for security (I was let in within 30 seconds of showing my key). This property is older and not remodeled; dont expect a Hilton or a 4 seasons. Its a cheaper, older property, and the accommodations show that. However the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and nothing beats waking up in the morning to see the ocean.
